P.W. Hobby is the manufacturer of the Vitapol brand, one of Poland’s well-established brands specialising in nutrition for small animals and birds. For more than 30 years, Vitapol has been developing products tailored to the needs of individual species, combining extensive experience, carefully selected raw materials and modern manufacturing facilities.

The brand offers a broad portfolio of complete and complementary feeds, natural treats, herbal blends, hay, supplements and products designed to support everyday animal care.

Quality from Raw Material to Finished Product

Careful ingredient selection and controlled manufacturing processes are at the core of Vitapol products. Recipes feature a diverse range of ingredients, including cereals, seeds, vegetables, fruit, herbs, hay, natural fibre and extruded components.

Particular attention is given to raw material quality and the preservation of nutritional value. The manufacturing process is monitored by the Quality Control Department throughout key production stages – from raw material intake and recipe preparation to manufacturing, packaging and finished-product storage.

P.W. Hobby operates according to ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 quality and food safety management systems.

Vita Herbal – Natural Nutrition at the Heart of the Range

One of the key product ranges within the Vitapol portfolio is Vita Herbal – an extensive collection based on natural ingredients and developed in response to the growing importance of natural nutrition for rabbits and small animals.

The range includes complete feeds, natural herbs and dried botanicals, plant-based blends, hay with natural additions, complementary treats and Smakers. Recipes incorporate ingredients such as herbs, vegetables, fruit, flowers and other plant-based raw materials.

The range is complemented by Vita Herbal Functional products developed around specific nutritional needs, together with a wide selection of natural treats designed to add variety to the daily diet.

A significant part of the production process retains its handcrafted character, helping to create the distinctive variety of compositions available within the range.

Bird Nutrition – From Traditional Blends to Specialist Products

Bird nutrition represents another important part of the Vitapol portfolio. The range covers products for budgerigars, canaries, cockatiels, lovebirds, medium and large parrots and other exotic birds.

Alongside traditional seed-based feeds, Vitapol develops the Vita Line range, which includes complete feeds, natural treats, Smakers, complementary products and vitamin and mineral preparations.
